Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-oriented approach to healing trauma and stress. It helps your nervous system release, reset, and restore-so you can feel safer in your body and more connected to yourself.
Somatic Experiencing® (SE) is based on the understanding that trauma and stress can get “stuck” in the body. When our nervous system is overwhelmed, our natural ability to regain balance can become disrupted.
SE helps your body complete the stress responses that were interrupted, so you can move from a state of survival into a state of safety and connection.
This isn’t about reliving the past. It’s about building awareness of what’s happening in your body in the present moment-one small, manageable step at a time.
